Dragon Style

      This creature is found in Chinese mythology. This style was developed by observing very closely the movements of reptiles such as lizards, python and alligator from China. It is characterized by rolling movements. 

     The ferocity of the gaze of the dragon, and the intimidating sound of his breath, are in this style that used all other styles to develop (in mythology, he has a head of a camel, eyes of a demon , ears of a cow, the antlers of a deer, a snake's neck and tiger legs ending with a eagle claw).

Monkey Style

    The monkey is an animal with very strong joints, which allows him to climb any tree very quickly. He is elusive and plays to manipulate his opponents who can not follow his movements. 

His ability to evade attacks and use of its four members (jumps back on itself, climbing) makes a quick and cunning animal. The base of the leg work of the monkey style is used in all other styles for its fabulous strengthening exercises of lower limbs.

Buddha Style (or Formal)

The Grand Master R. Shekhar - 9st Dan Hong-Kong

    Symbol of wisdom, concentration and power, strikes are carried out with the palm of the hand or the lower area of the palm, often in upward momentum, which allows the soldier to concentrate its strength toward targets such as the jaw, heart, and the plexus.

Tiger Style

   The ferocity and strength are important characteristics of the tiger, as the strength of his claws and legs. These characteristics are the foundation of the tiger style that requires great strength and concentration.

Vital Points Style (Accu Punch, or Phoenix Style)

     The strikes are carried out with the phalanx of the index, all other fingers are retracted and folded against the palm. The strikes hurt usually vital points of the opponent.

Eagle Style

    The eagle, kind of king in the air, is characterized by his piercing eyes and legs with powerful claws. This style uses for close combat. The techniques involved as those from the claws of an eagle, are realised with the fingers tightly together, to get a precise target, capture and penetrate the vital points or other vulnerable areas (face, neck and jaw, for example), the hands imitate the wings of the animal.

Leopard Style

Speed is the main feature of Leopard. Less powerful than the tiger, attacks are weaker, but stronger. 

However, the footwork is very powerful to ensure a very high mobility in combat, thus providing the person who practices the ability to attack quickly and in several directions.

Snake Style

     The fluidity of the snake is that it disappears very quickly during a fight with an opponent. This style is intimidating in strikes in order to inflict psychological damage. dded to this stylized jumps and dangerous attacks. 

     Playing on the speed of movements, alternating direct attacks with the hand, the practitioner "bore" his/her opponent, cons-attack and returns the attacks of his opponent against himself.

The Fist Style (Quans)

Fists Techniques and the mix of Mansuria Kung-Fu animal styles. This style requires strength and courage.

Drunken Style

   The characteristics of an intoxicated person are mainly the following: a state of uncertainty, instability while moving, rocking in the movement (such as a reed in the wind), the weakness of his actions and mental state of unconsciousness .
   Based on the control of these states of consciousness of the mind and the body to liberate the Chi, and therefore the power, the style of a drunken man is also the result of a combination of techniques from other styles. The footwork is unpredictable as those of monkeys and snakes. The body swings into action like a dragon. The aggressiveness of the tiger may also appear. The work on this style can also mean not to feel the pain during the attacks regarding the feeling of inebriation.
   This style requires more techniques and practice than other styles to acquire its control. In this art, the internal Chi controls any activity from the body.

Mansuria Style(Praying Mantis Style)

     This art requires speed and precision, his attacks are at strategic points. It requires special attention on strengthening the index. 

    The expert in martial arts could then exploit this style in any direction with precision and speed, jumps and leg techniques (alternating strikes up and down, unpredictable and devastating).

Chicken Style (Crane Style)

         The chicken simultaneously uses its wings to defend himself and his beak to attack. 

The five fingertips firmly attached, form a "weapon" that can strike with a "peck" action on vital points of his opponent (for instance nose, eyes, temples).

Our Styles

   The Mansuria Kung Fu is based on 12 styles, derived mainly from animal behavior. The first lessons of the Mansuria Kung Fu are on basic techniques like in all other Kung Fu styles(elbows, knees, punches, self-defense, stences). Those techniques are primary to learn the "boxing animals" later, especially when the instructor has acquired a good knowledge of the student and the student a good knowledge of the "basic" stuff.
       Each style is based on basic techniques, as well as on taos and self-defense exercises that are specific. These styles, mainly inspired by the behavior of some animals will be directly influenced by the specificity of each animal that it corresponds: the natural fluidity of the snake is found in the attitudes and postures of the style, the agility of the monkey with its unpredictable attitudes are the main characteristic of the style of the monkey ...
    Each animal has its own fighting strategy: it is found in the corresponding style. It is important to note that the goal of those animal fighting skills is to kill the enemy in order to survive, to defend or to protect your territory and your family (this dimension is also reflected in the different techniques).
     A description of the main characteristics of each animal can give a better understanding of the techniques associated with it.

WEAPONS

              We also manipulate the well-known weapons in the world of Japanese martial arts such as the sai, tonfa or the yawara. While using weapons of Nippon origins, the techniques involved are unique to the style of Mansuria Kung-Fu. Weapons are divided into three distinct groups: short, long and articulated (or sections) weapons. This diversity gives practitioners a wide range of possibilities.

The Grand Master R. Shekhar - 9st Dan Hong-Kong

  R. Shekhar (9th Dan) is the present Grand Master of the Mansuria Kung-Fu. He is from India and was a student of Grand Master Kalai Achony Lee in Hong-Kong. Through his work and the way he masters this art, little by little he learnt all its secret.
   Back to India, he created the International Association of Mansuria Kung-Fu and an international place of training. The Mansuria Kung-Fu is today the first in India, including all styles (fight plus taos). The domination of this art there in India is explained by an historical establishment following the other Kung-Fu styles : in the same way that some styles dominate here in France (number of practitioners and reputation) because of their implantation before some other styles ; The Mansuria Kung-Fu is predominant thanks to its arrival early on the territory.
To get an idea of the reputation of the Mansuria Kung-Fu in India, we should know that the Grand Master teaches personally professional stuntmen who work for the Indian cinema, and other actors who would like to get prepared for fighting scenes. He also teaches to several militaries units and policemen with the help of his best students.
   With 40 years of training and teaching, there are now more than 15 000 black belts and 40 000 students who was trained by the Grand Master throughout the world : in Malaysia, Kuwait, in Arabic (Bahrain, Dubai…) and in France. There are also some practitioners in Germany and in England. More than 1 500 associations are now linked to the International Association of Mansuria Kung-Fu.
